Miss Central Alumni 2014

The Miss Central Alumni started in 2012

Purpose:  To continue the legacy of the Central High School “Wildcats” and carry on the true spirit and history of Central High School . Miss Central Alumni will represent all graduates of Central High School.

The alumni association is encouraging all female alumni, regardless of age, an opportunity to become Miss Central Alumni. It is recommended that we have at least ONE contestant (lady) from each Wildcat’s Alumni Class; however, as many contestants as possible from one class are welcome to participate. Please fill out the attached application packet by the deadline, Friday, September 19, 2014 along with a $20.00 application fee. ***This fee will be used to pay for a trophy or plaque; a sash; flowers and tiara for Miss Central Alumni and her court.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Contestant must be a graduate of Central High School.

  • Contestant must agree to abide by all the set by the alumni association.

 

WHEN DOES THE CAMPAIGN BEGIN?

The official campaign starts on October 1, 2014 and ends on November 6, 2014.

The winners will be notified on November 11, 2014 and presented to the alumni association at the meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2014.

 

HOW WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN?

One contestant will be crowned Miss Central Alumni and there will be a 1st and 2nd attendant. Voting will take place on the following dates at Bishop State Central Campus:

  • October 2, 2014

  • October 16, 2014

  • November 6, 2014

 

Voting will take place from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on each of the above dates. Contestant does not have to be present, but may want to come to greet voters. ****There will be a table set up at the back door entrance to Bishop State Central campus. There will be a poster with pictures of each contestant. A ballot with all names will be available. Person wishing to vote will fill out ballot, place in envelope provided. Envelop will be sealed until deadline. One vote per person per date.

The contestant with the largest number of votes will be crowned Miss Central Alumni; second highest--1st attendant; third highest--2nd attendant

 

WARDROBE:

Miss Central and attendants will ride in the Central parade on Saturday morning. (must provide own car). Attire will be suit, hat and gloves. We ask that you wear coordinating outfits.

 Example:       Miss Alumni wear maroon suit and hat

                        Attendants wear white or off-white suits and hats.

Maroon & White Scholarship Ball:  semi-formal or formal attire
